English: Landscape of the Vikna archipelago, Nord-Trøndelag county, central Norway. Notice the bare rock, scraped by ice age glaciers. Also notice the forest of coastal pine (Scots pine) and aspen (white due to no leafs in April) growing in the soil in the small valleys / hollows between the rocky hills. Picture taken 11. April 2009.
Norsk bokmål: Landskap på Vikna på Nord-Trøndelagskysten som viser arven fra istiden, da isbreene skrapet åsene ren for løsmasser. Legg merke til kystfuruskogen og osp (ser hvit ut siden dette er i april og altså ikke bladverk) som klarer å finne nok jord i fordypningene /dalgangene i terrenget. |
