Purpose of use

This image is used primarily to illustrate a map mode in Victoria 2, the visual style of the game, and the design of the map and interface layout. Text alone is unsuitable for this purpose, as this type of world map is uncommon in other video games, therefore readers unfamiliar with the concept would benefit from an image illustrating this aspect of the game. The use of the image does not limit the authors or any other copyright holder to benefit from this creation, in any way whatsoever.

Replaceable?

The game is under copyright, therefore a free version of this image which would replace the copyrighted one cannot exist. It can, however, be replaced by another in-game screenshot which could better illustrate this particular subject.

Other information

Screenshots of this nature are provided in previews on their forums and on video game review websites.
