English: Oil painting on canvas, Lady Lucy Percy, Countess of Carlisle (c.1600 - 1660) by Sir Anthony van Dyck (Antwerp 1599 - London 1641), circa 1635-1637. A three-quarter-length portrait of a woman, turned to the left, gazing at the spectator, standing in a landscape, her right hand held under the water flowing out of a stone vase held by a carved putto into a stone bowl at the left; wearing a small wreath of roses in her hair and a single rose at her bosom; tawny/gold dress with a jewelled clasp holding a fur pelt over her left shoulder; and a pearl necklace and double pearl drop earrings.
