English: Sgt. 1st Class Scott Wiseman of the Virginia National Guard's Fort Pickett-based 34th Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team collects a water sample Jan. 19, 2014, near Charleston, W.Va., after Jeff Miller, a crew leader with West Virginia American Water, opened the fire hydrant. Fourteen Virginia Guard soldiers and airmen from the 34th CST are assisting the West Virginia National Guard in the wake of a chemical leak that contaminated the water supply for thousands of residents.
