English: Logo of the defunct United States Synthetic Fuels Corporation, created in response to the oil crisis in 1980, defunct by 1985. Its design invokes an eagle, as well as the arrows used to represent a chemical reaction and its multiple products, and also the initials of the corporation (SFC).
