English: Pacific Ocean (Nov. 13, 2004) - Photographer's Mate 1st Class John Yoder, left, and Photographer's Mate 2nd Class Julian Olivari, install an AN/ASQ-228 Advanced Targeting Forward-Looking Infrared (ATFLIR) Pod on an F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Bounty Hunters" of Strike Fighter Squadron Two (VFA-2) aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). The ATFLIR Pod is used for precision strike warfare employing laser-guided bombs; global positioning system-guided weapons and freefall bombs; forward air control (airborne); close air support; low altitude night navigation; and battle damage assessment. Lincoln and embarked Carrier Air Wing Two (CVW-2) are currently deployed to the Western Pacific Ocean. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate Airman Apprentice Timothy C. Roache Jr. (RELEASED)
