Summary

Description Major ships of the U.S. Navy Sixth Fleet cruise the waters of central Mediterranean Sea in special formation for a fleet picture. In the right center are two aircraft carriers, an Midway-class aircraft carrier, probably USS Midway (CVA-41), and an SCB-27A-modernised Essex-class aircraft carrier, probably either USS Hornet (CVA-12) or USS Randolph (CVA-15).
