J.B. Walker (American Schooner Barge, 1879)

In port, probably in the New York City area in 1917-1918, when she was inspected by the Third Naval District for possible acquisition by the U.S. Navy. Following purchase by the Navy, this barge was placed in commission on 8 August 1918 as USS J.B. Walker (ID # 1272). She was sold on 11 September 1919.
