Description
English: Polish citizens come to see the U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Harry E. Yarnell (CG-17) shortly after the vessel, along with the guided missile frigate USS Kauffman (FFG-59), arrived in port at Gdynia, Poland, on 27 June 1990. Harry E. Yarnell and Kauffman were visiting Poland in conjunction with BALTOPS '90, a NATO exercise in the Baltic Sea. Their port call represented the first visit by an American vessel since 1927.
