English: The U.S. Navy submarine tender USS Camden (AS-6) off Pensacola, Florida (USA), on 23 December 1924. The ships in the distance are: USS Savannah (AS-8), in center, and USS Bushnell (AS-2), at left. The original print was autographed in June 1967 by Admiral Thomas C. Hart, USN (Retired), who used Camden as his flagship from May 1930 to January 1931, while he was Commander, Control Force, U.S. Fleet. He was a Rear Admiral at that time. |
