Summary

Description The U.S. Military Sealift Command fleet oiler USNS Cedar Creek (T-AO-138), circa in 1950. She was fitted with an extra platform to transport aircraft, in this case U.S. Navy Vought F4U-5N Corsair fighters, to the Korean theater of war. This platform was called "Machano Decking" and created 1,100 square metres of deck.
