Description
English: Aerial view of Aberdeen Lock and Dam on the Tombigbee River near Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi, USA. The dam impounds Aberdeen Lake and is part of the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway, connecting the Tennessee and Tombigbee Rivers. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers maintains the lock and the waterway for barge navigation. View is upriver to the northwest.
