Summary

Description
English: Minaret and double domes of the Shiite Abdul Hussein Mosque in the Islamic quarter (Harat El Islem) of Tyre/Sour, Southern Lebanon. It was built in 1928 and named after Sayed Abdul Hussein Sharafeddin (1872-1957), who as the Shiite Imam of the city was a social reformer. In the background right is the minaret of the - Sunni - Old Mosque, constructed around 1750.
