This circuit image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}. It is recommended to name the SVG file "Tuned circuit animation 3 300ms.svg" - then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
English: Animated diagram showing the operation of a tuned circuit (LC circuit), a very simple electronic circuit widely used in audio, radio and television equipment. It consists of an inductor (coil of wire, left) and a capacitor (right) connected together. Tuned circuits can store electrical energy oscillating at its resonant frequency. When the capacitor is charged with electricity and connected to the coil, the charge flows back and forth between the capacitor's plates through the coil as shown. The oscillations are shown slowed down; in an actual tuned circuit the charge oscillates back and forth hundreds of thousands to billions of times per second.
