Deutsch: "Frühes Kerma" (zwischen 2500 und 2450 v. Chr.), Jungsteinzeit, gefunden in der Kerma Nekropole. Der Oberbau des Tumulus besteht aus kleinen steinernen Stelen und ist mit Bukranien (bucrania / Rinderschädel) umgeben. Der Verstorbenen liegt in kauernde Haltung auf der rechten Seite, seine Arme sind angewinkelt und der Kopf nach Osten gerichtet.
English: Early Kerma (2500 to 2450 BC), Neolithic, found in Kerma necropolis. The tumulus' top consists of small stone stelae and is surrounded by bucrania (bull skulls). The deceased lies in a cowering position on his right side, arms and head to the east. |
