Neuchâtel tram 83 eastbound on Quai Philippe-Godet in 1979, approaching Place Pury terminus, near the end of a trip from Boudry on route 5. Lake Neuchâtel is in the background. Car 83 was one of three double-ended (bi-directional) "Swiss Standard" trams built for the Neuchâtel tram system in 1947 by SIG, numbered 81–83 (renumbered 581–583 in 1980). Car 583 (ex-83) has been preserved by the Association Neuchâteloise des Amis du Tramway (ANAT).
