Fair use for Tony Summers[edit]

Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because:

1. Illustrates main subject of article Tony Summers as primary means of visual identification of the subject.
2. It illustrates the individual at a key moment in his career at the Olympics 1948 cf. Swimming at the 1948 Summer Olympics – Men's 100 metre backstroke
3. It is of much lower resolution than the original. Copies made from it will be of very inferior quality.
