Der Staatsrat der DDR trat am 20.9.68 unter Vorsitz von Walter Ulbricht zu seiner 11. Sitzung zusammen. Im Mittelpunkt der Beratung im Amtssitz des Staatsrates am Marx-Engels-Platz steht ein Beschlußentwurf über "Die Aufgaben der Körperkultur und des Sports bei der Gesatlung des entwickelten gesellschaftlichen Systems des Sozialismus in der DDR". Auf unserem Foto: Thomas Köhler, Olympiasieger im Rennschlittensport und Verbandstrainer des Deutschen Schlitten- und Bobsport-Verbandes der DDR (r.), spricht in der Diskussion zum Beschlußentwurf.
