Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. The image is only a small portion of the commercial product.
2. It is a low resolution copy of a CD album cover.
3. It does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the CD album in any way.
4. Copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the album artwork on another CD.
5. The album from which the cover was taken is a salient example of the music described in the article
6. Additionally, the cover is widely available in similar form on the internet, for example at websites of online CD retailers.
