Summary

Description
English: Theresienstadt Concentration Camp Czech Jewish Holocaust Survivor Ela Stein-Weissberger, German Jewish Holocaust Survivor Inge Auerbacher; and Dachau Concentration Camp Liberator Jimmy Gentry perform a candle lighting ceremony, during the 2013 Federal Inter-Agency Holocaust Remembrance Day, at the Lincoln Theater, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in Washington, D.C. They each took turns making comments after the candle was lit. Since the 1979 President’s Commission on the Holocaust, an annual proclamation signed by the President of the United States recognizes the importance of remembering the atrocities of the Holocaust that should never be forgotten or be ignored.
