Summary[edit]

Media data and Non-free use rationale
Description This diagram depicts the simplistic nature of the first instrument. The plasma source and the direction in which the discharge will flow through the tube with the gases and the sample. The region in which reactions will take place and where the excess gas will be pumped away through the roots pump. Lastly, from the sample port to the mass spectrometer.
