English: American advertisement for the British drama film The White Shadow (1923) with Betty Compson, from the advertising cover section of the July 6, 1924 Film Daily. The American ad consists of an illustration in a style typical of Selznick distributed films and does not contain any stills from the British film. The U.S. distribution title would later be changed to White Shadows.
