Summary

The Three Worlds
Artist
Maxim Sukharev (Максим Сухарев)
Title
The Three Worlds
Description
The artwork represents the three dimensions of Slavic cosmology: Prav ("Right"), Yav ("reality", "actuality") and Nav ("probability"). They are in the shape of Svarog ("Heaven", which is Prav, on the left of the drawing), Mat Syra Zemlya ("Damp Mother Earth", which retains the squared rhythms of Heaven constituting Nav, on the right of the drawing), and the Son of Heaven (Svetovid, Perun, Dazhbog, etc., or Svarozhich per se; representing conscious humanity between the two supreme powers, in Yav). For further information about Slavic theo-cosmology, see the caption of Sukharev’s other artwork entitled The Seven Gods.
