Summary

Description
English: Kadisha Valley, Lebanon. The sides of the valley are steep cliffs. A place of recluse and worship. The valley's caves, being comfortless, scattered, and difficult to access, provided monks with conditions to live out Christian solitude, contemplation, and devotion. Monastery of Qozhaya is a Christian Maronite monastery. It belongs to the Lebanese Maronite Order known as Baladites.
