This shot, and all like it, would be copyrighted by Major League Baseball or some news agency. Any free image would have to have been taken from someone in the stands at the Kingdome, which most likely would not have caught Griffey's smile. The image of Griffey smiling is one of the key factors in why this image is etched into the memories of Seattle fans. |
