The white dots on the image appear to be a deliberate design choice. The image thus may or may not be above the American threshold of originality, and thus may or may not qualify for copyright protection. However, in "eBay (v1)" and "eBay (v2)", no copyright notice was placed on the dust jacket, making the image belong in the public domain regardless of its originality.
