English: The Altar and Chancel Crossing of St Oswalds Sowerby The lantern above the chancel crossing was created in 1883 when restoration and repairs were carried out to St Oswalds. In the 1980s the free standing altar was created, which enables it to be removed for the many concerts that take place there.
