Description
English: A scan of page 29 of Fujiwara no Teika's Hundred-Poem Sequence of the Shoji Era, 1200, translated by Robert H. Brower. Published by Sophia University in 1978, it is a page of calligraphy of from the Sarashina nikki (a travel diary by Sugawara no Takasue no musume (Sugawara no Takasue's daughter) that Fujiwara no Teika copied in his later years. The first two lines (starting from right to left) are a poem: "Like me, the waterfowl / Spends its night in wretchedness: / Floating on the pond, / Shivering in fitful sleep / As it shakes the hoarfrost from its wings." (pg 80)
Esperanto: Skano de la 29-a paĝo de Sekvo de cent poeziaĵoj el la erao Ŝōĵia, 1200, verko de Fujivarao no Tejko, angle tradukita de Robert H. Brower. Eldonita de Universitato Sofia en 1978, ĝi estas paĝo de kaligrafio de la Saraŝina nikio (vojaĝa taglibro de filino de Sugavarao (菅原孝標女, Sugawara no Takasue no musume) kiun Fujivarao no Teiko kopiis en siaj postaj jaroj.
