Summary

Description	English: Photograph of Kiku harbour taken in 1931 by Teikō Shiotani (鹽谷定好, 1899–1988) from the window of his house in Akasaki, in what is now Kotoura, Tottori Prefecture, Japan, looking toward a breakwater and windsock. Shiotani emphasized the curvature of the horizon by bending the paper under the enlarger. Original title: 天氣豫報のある風景 (Tenki yohō no aru fūkei); a title that -- in modern orthography, 天気予報のある風景 -- has since been used consistently for this (and at least one other, very similar photograph by Shiotani). In English, it has been titled "Landscape with forecasted weather" and "Landscape with weather report". Published in The Photo-Times (フォトタイムス, a long-defunct Japanese photography magazine), January 1932 issue, page 27.
