English: Summerseat railway station, Lancashire Opened in 1848 by the East Lancashire Railway, later part of the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway, on the line from Bury to Bacup and Accrington, this station closed in 1972 and was largely demolished. It was reopened in 2007 by a heritage railway running from Heywood to Rawtenstall. View north towards Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall. The original northbound track and platform were to the left.
