Summary

Description

An 'A line' Subte subway at rest in Buenos Aires' Plaza de Mayo station early on a Saturday morning.

I'd judge this train to be in better-than-average shape, by local standards. An operator told me that the fleet now includes forty new trains from China -- at least if I didn't miss something in translation, and I might have -- but I also saw first hand that it includes some real beaters. Buenos Aires awarded me with the single most gruesome subway ride I've taken to date, as shall be explained in a photo caption elsewhere in this set.
