Summary

Description
English: The township of Walton became part of Liverpool in 1895 but its Town Hall survived until the 1960s, when it was demolished to make way for the Queens Drive/Breeze Hill flyover. This stonework shows the coat of arms of Walton on the Hill, and can be seen to the south of the flyover opposite Church Lane.
