Description 1860s stereoview picture which has the original label on the back: "Lynton from the summerhouse. Lyn Cliff. Photographed and published by W. Palmer". This is Lynton in Devon, England; a village in a gorge. The photographer ran the family firm William Eastman Palmer & Sons in the Plymouth area in the 1860s and 1870s.
