English: Steinbjørn Berghamar Jacobsen (known as Steinbjørn B. Jacobsen) is a Faroese writer. He was born in Sandvík in 1937. He has written different kind of literature, poems, theater plays, novels, short stories, stories for children and memoirs. This photo was taken in Sandvík in May 2011 when he published his third book in a trilogy of memoirs from Sandvík. The book is called "Grund 3". Update 13 April 2012: Steinbjørn B. Jacobsen died yesterday on 12 April 2012, 74 years old.
Føroyskt: Steinbjørn B. Jacobsen er føroyskur rithøvundur, føddur í Sandvík í 1937. Hann hevur skrivað nógv ymiskt, t.d. yrkingar, skaldsøgur, stuttsøgur, sjónleikir og endurminningar.
