English: Donor's portrait of Stefan Nemanje, Great Zupan (1168-1196), in monasticsm named Symeon. Fresco in the Church of the Theotokos, Studenica Monastery (1568). The saint is shown wearing both the monarch's crown and the simple robes of a monk. He holds a model of the church he has donated.
