Summary

Description
English: Monumental work dedicated to Europe by the French sculptor Bernard Romain. It was placed at the heart of the European quarter and was inaugurated on 9 December 2003 by Neil Kinnock, then Vice-President of the Commission, and Viviane Reding, Commissioner of Culture. The Statue was manufactured, modelled, polished and painted by children with challenged vision of different cultures under the supervision of Bernard Romain.
Français : Œuvre monumentale, dédiée à l'Europe du sculpteur français Bernard Romain, placée au cœur du quartier européen à Bruxelles. Elle a été inaugurée le 9 décembre 2003 par Neil Kinnock, alors vice-président de la Commission et le commissaire à la Culture Viviane Reding. La statue a été sculptée, modelée, polie et peinte par des enfants à la vue déficiente, de cultures différentes, sous la conduite de Bernard Romain.
