English: These are two tubes containing two 'stabs' of a bacterial culture. The first demonstrates that the organism is capable of motility by moving through the culture medium. It appears as a diffuse line along and spreading from the inocculation line. No growth appear in the second sample tube and any growth only occurs along the exact path of the stab |
