Summary

Description
English: St Sidwell A relief of St Sidwell (Sativola in Latin), Exeter's patron saint, beheaded with a scythe in about 740 AD. Below the scythe she holds is a well associated with her (water pours from it into the stream along the foot of the monument); Well Street, a little way north, is the supposed location. This representation is on the side of a very plain shopping arcade at the southwestern end of Sidwell Street.
