Description
English: St Peter's church - stained glass window. Depicting the Holy Trinity. The village of Strumpshaw is located on an elevation a short distance north of the River Yare. 485403 is situated in the centre of the Parish. The church was built in the 14th/15th centuries and still houses the original octagonal carved font > 721847, and an early 15th century rood screen with most of its original colourings. There is a double piscina > 721844, one of its arches ending in the carved figure of a little dragon > 721846, in the sanctuary, and various interesting tomb slabs on the nave floor > 721853. The church is kept locked but a key is available.
