Summary

Description
English: An allegorical engraving showing Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges sparring with George Hanger, 4th Baron Coleraine and Charles d'Éon de Beaumont, Chevalier d'Éon (who dressed and identified as a woman after 1777) fighting with the Prince of Wales (the future King George IV). It draws on the fencing exhibitions preformed by the Chevalier de Saint-Georges and his work with anti-slavery groups, as well as an unsuccessful assassination attempt on Saint-Georges, presumeably for his abolitionist activities.
