English: Hindu Temple in Pearland, Texas just outside Manvel.

This palatial structure has architecture common in southern India, the Sri Meenakshi Temple is the only one of its kind outside of India dedicated to Meenakshi, the goddess of marriage. Beyond being a notable religious center, the temple offers a captivating way to discover and experience Hindu culture.

It has gleaming white walls, towers laden with intricate sculptures and a courtyard enclosed by gleaming white walls.

The temple is adorned with granite imported from India, and was built to be an exact replica of the Sree Meenakshi Temple in Madurai. There are shrines of 16 Hindu gods and goddesses.
