English: Figure 21. Smoke generator to visualize air flow. Smoke generators provide a low-cost method to visualize air flow patterns around control measures. Airflow visualization techniques can be used to help understand the patterns of airflow in and around exhaust hoods and pressure differences between adjacent areas/rooms.
