Summary[edit]

Found in my parents' effects while clearing their house. This photograph is clearly the original source use in publications such as One Step Further by Marion Hebblethwaite - perhaps it was used in the article about him in the Illustrated London News in 1945. Contrary to Hebblethwaite's assertion, it is not the only photograph, there are more in my possesion all published through Google.Optymystic (talk) 09:42, 30 July 2013 (UTC)

At the time it was used in my books it was the only known photograph. Since then the family have contributed much new material and his medals have been tracked down.
