Summary

Description
English: A bed made by William Burges in 1867 and which he used as his own bed, dying in it in 1881. There are paintings of his dogs, Midge and Bogie at the foot of the bed and on the headboard a painting by Henry Holiday of Sleeping Beauty. On display at The Higgins museum and gallery in Bedford.
