Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws, and the stricter requirements of Wikipedia's non-free content policies, because:

1. The photo is only being used for informational purposes.
2. Its inclusion in the article adds significantly to the article because the photo and its historical significance are the object of discussion in the article.

This image is fair use in the Simpson Investment Company article as it depicts a historic event in the 1940s that cannot be photographed today. The railroad line and bridge depicted have been abandoned and this picture documents the events that occurred during that time period.
