ВЕЛИКОМУЧЕНИК ФЕОДОР СТРАТИЛАТ. 1676 Симон Ушаков «с товарищи» Дерево, темпера Происходит из Архангельского собора Московского Кремля Государственный историко-культурный музей-заповедник «Московский Кремль» инв. Ж-518/1 Образ великомученика Феодора Стратилата, патронального святого царя Федора Алексеевича, был написан вскоре после его венчания на царство в 1676 году и предназначался для местного ряда иконостаса Благовещенского собора Московского Кремля. Икона воспроизводит традиционный с середины XVI века тип царских тезоименных образов, создававшихся для домового храма русских царей. Характерные для подобной иконографии воинские атрибуты: меч, копье, щит – здесь отсутствуют, изображен только крест в правой руке как символ мученичества. Эта трактовка образа была продиктована условиями заказа: великомученик Феодор Стратилат предстает как небесный покровитель царя и молитвенник за своего земного соименника. Согласно тексту надписи, икону Ушаков исполнил не один, а «с товарищи », среди которых, возможно, были Федор Зубов и Гурий Никитин. |
