Summary[edit]

This is just an old snap from my own photo collection.

I have others more current but would need to get clearance, as they are professional photo's covered by copyright.

This was my favourite 'L' Series Stratocaster all through Australian Crawl. It was stolen when I left it with somebody I thought I could trust in 1995 - a guitar dealer I had dealt with for 20 years. He sold it to Jack Jones. Jack? Lotta memories in that guitar. The back is covered with signatures from a lot of the people I worked with. All start "Dear Simy" or similar.

The police won't act because they say I can't prove it was my guitar.

Everybody knows it is my guitar. It has my name all over it and is included in a photo in Rhett Hutchen's book with Sir Les Patterson using it as a prop in the Hawke government's anti-drug concert. Barry signed the back in his Sir Les Patterson shaky writing - 'To Simon'. Barry would verify his signature. What more proof do you need?
