English:
Two-storey city mansion wirh enclosed-courtyard. It gained its present form during reconstructions and extensions in 1891, 1908, and then in 1923. The ground floor walls have medieval remains in the street wing, although the exterior of the building today is neo-baroque in nature. It was designed in 1891 by architects Hubert and Móri for Count Géza Zichy, pianist and composer. Between 1920 and 1940, Count Antal Sigray Maria Fülöp Alajos, an anti-Hitler politician who was deported by the Gestapo in 1944. (see: Antal Sigray memorial plaque on the wall and the Sigray coat of arms above the gate) It was renovated in the 1960s according to the plans of Lászlóné Muszik, an employee of the VÁTI (~Institute of Urban Construction Science and Design) design office. Old monument sign aka Monument XVI (installed in 1866): "~Here stand the Palatine Imre Perényi and Bishop Ferenc Perényi residentaial building, bought in 1515 from Count Gáspár Som de temes. Srone gateframe is original. North of its stood cardinal-archbishop János Scitovszky residential building formerly owned by the royal cannon master Márton.A. M. T. A. R. B. 1866."
