Description Lot-2263-3: USS Charger (ACV-30, later CVE-30), August 1942. On this converted cruiser a neat, adequate ship’s canteen is provided. Tobacco, candies, and miscellaneous drug articles are available here for every man onboard, which all helps make life afloat a little more comfortable. Official U.S. Navy Photograph.
