English: Demonstration of vehicle extrication by hte firefighters of La Rochelle and Sainte-Soulle (Charente-Maritime); the roof is removed, the "squirel" — firefighter from the ambulance (behind) team that stays inside with the casualty — is seatted behind the casualty, holds the oxygen mask and the head; a red protective muff protects the sharp edges of the right forward upright (on the left on the picture); as it is a demonstration, the position of the ambulance does not conform to the normal procedure; Sainte-Soulle (Charente-Maritime)
Français : Démonstration de désincarcération par les sapeurs-pompiers de La Rochelle et de Sainte-Soulle (Charente-Maritime) ; le véhicule est dépavillonné, l'« écureuil » — sapeur-pompier de l'équipe VSAV (« ambulance », en arrière plan) — qui reste dans le véhicule avec la victime) est assis derrière la victime, et maintien le masque à oxygène et la tête de la victime ; un manchon de protection rouge protège les arrêtes tranchantes sur le montant avant droit (à gauche sur la photo) ; comme il s'agit d'une démonstration, la position du VSAV ne correspond pas à une situation réelle ; Sainte-Soulle (Charente-Maritime)
